Why We’re Giving Thanks by Giving Back

This fall, we’re proud to host a local food drive to support families in need across Barrie. Your donations help fill tables and hearts this Thanksgiving.

Over the past three years, Barrie has experienced a significant increase in the demand for food support. During the Thanksgiving season in 2022, the Barrie Food Bank assisted around 3,000 individuals. Just one year later, in 2023, that number surged to over 5,600 people. By 2024, the food bank was serving more than 7,000 individuals each month, including nearly 2,600 children.

These alarming figures highlight the rising food crisis in our community, especially during the holiday season. To address this issue, Smiles on Essa Dental is participating in the Thanksgiving Food Drive. Every family deserves a thankful and generous holiday season.
