Dental Hygienist
In June of 2025, Makenna, known to some as Kenny, joined our clinical team as a Dental Hygienist. Upon graduating from Georgian College, she earned her advanced diploma in Dental Hygiene. By going above and beyond, Makenna was not only on the Dean’s List, but she received both the Outstanding Achievement Award and 123Dentist Award for her professional excellence. Alongside her academic accomplishments, Makenna is also an active member of the ODHA.
You may know her as a friendly face behind the mask working diligently to maintain healthy smiles. She provides support and preventative oral care to patients, using her exceptional communication skills, she guarantees understanding, comfort, and confidence to those who are with.
When she is not busy working on preventative care, Makenna is occupied creating a positive experience for the Tooth Heroes starting their journey in the SBBG program. She helps to run our kids’ camps, lead educational presentations in the Barrie community, and ensures that the mystery of the Sugar Bugz is solved!
Outside the office, Makenna enjoys spending her time experimenting with baking, going on a run to connect with nature, or simply winding down with her creative craft projects.
